Update August 14, 2017: Shmeal (Beta) is no more. We are now LIVE on the App Store. Get Shmeal now:

What’s Shmeal

Shmeal is a sharing economy app connecting frugal home cooks and eaters through $6 meals. We call these $6 meals “Shmeals.” Cooks post Shmeals on the app, and eaters request Shmeals and pick them up from the cook’s house.

What’s a Beta Test

A beta test is a live test of a complete app. The app isn’t available in the App Store yet, but we will email you the app using TestFlight.

I’ll be firing up my slow-cooker to make some carnitas burrito bowls inspired by this box from Antique Taco.

Stin will be making salmon bowls with that wild Alaskan salmon you can get in bulk from Costco. He’s getting pretty good at it. We’ll also be taking requests to keep things interesting!

All you’ll have to do is schedule your pickup in the app, and pickup your food.

You’re invited! Help us build an awesome homemade food community in Chicago!

P.S. Are you interested in cooking with Shmeal? Sign up here.
