Q: What’s your cooking background?

Bri: I come from a family that LOVES FOOD and having a family from the south (Jackson, MS), means that I was in the kitchen at a very young age. That early bonding with food grew with me as I got older and began exploring other cultures/foods & traveling.

“Dang this was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. So juicy and delicious 😋”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bri: I’ve learned to prepare so many different ethnic dishes and enhanced my culinary understanding of building flavors, seasonings, presentation, etc . That passion for food has led me to starting my own catering business where I do everything from meal prep to events and cater to everyone from carnivores to vegans.

Q: Where did you grow up and what kind of food did you grow up with?

Bri: I was born and raised on the best side of Chicago – The Westside! I grew up eating a variety of delicious foods that were prepared by my Mom, but from the neighborhood? Pizza puffs, wings fried hard with mild sauce and fries from Uncle Remus, Italian beefs dipped with sweet and hot peppers, Flamin’ Hots with cheese, Elotes, just to name a few.

Bri’s Bang Bang Shrimp. Bang Bang Shrimp is one of my favorite ways to have shrimp and now you don’t have to wait until you’re at a restaurant to have it! Prepare to enjoy the flavors of breaded shrimp, sriracha and Thai chili sauce. Spice level = Medium.

Q: Anything else we should know about you and your cooking?

Bri: I enjoy introducing people to new foods or cooking foods they know and love, so I cook with love and passion and for me that means – I only play certain types of music while cooking (Meditation, Self-healing, Soul), I speak to my food (literally! Lol), and even light candles/incense; it’s almost like I’m on a date with everything I create!
