Q: What can you tell us about the dish you’re making and what inspired it?
Demi: Spanakopita is a spinach and cheese (ricotta/feta) stuffed pie and Tiropita is a cheese (ricotta/feta) pie. These are so flavorful and HUGE! They are a staple dish to Greeks and I guarantee you will love it.
Q: Where’d you grow up? What kind of food did you grow up with?
Demi: I grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and grew up in a Greek-American household eating authentic Greek food and classic American dishes made by the amazing women in my family.
Q: What’s your cooking background?
Demi: My background in cooking goes back to as young as I can remember, always watching my mom and grandma cook and wanting to help. I started joining in and cooking on my own time, from there the passion only continues to grow!
Q: Anything else we should know about you and your cooking?
Demi: I love to cook healthier dishes but also will make indulging cheat day meals!
