Q: How did you first learn to cook and what’s your cooking background?
Hailee: I first got interested in cooking from cooking Sunday dinner with my grandma. This love for cooking and eating eventually led me to culinary school in New York. I have been working in professional kitchens for four years now!
Q: What can you tell us about the dish you’re making and what inspired it?
Hailee: I am making a Thai yellow curry with coconut rice this week. It’s inspired by my travels to Thailand. It’s my interpretation of a curry I had while there!
Q: What do you like to eat?
Hailee: I love to eat Southeast Asian food and enjoy using locally sourced ingredients.
Q: Anything else we should know about you and your cooking?
Hailee: I cook professionally, but it’s still my main hobby at home as well. I’m super excited to be able to share what I make at home with others!
