Q: What’s your cooking background?

Serdar: Baking has been in my family for generations. Fresh, out of the wood oven bread smell was an unforgettable moment of my childhood. A love of food and an appreciation of experimenting unique and new tastes drew me to learning more about new techniques of cooking/baking.

Q: Where did you grow up and what kind of food did you grow up with?

Serdar: I grew up exposed to a wide range of cuisines including traditional Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines.

Q: What’s your favorite food memory?

Serdar: I can’t call one favorite food memory but I can tell ‘food’ is not just filling our stomach. Food brings our family and friends together and those gatherings are the part of the joy of food.

Q: Anything else we should know about you and your cooking?

Serdar: The reason I signed up to this app is to share my small batch of homemade meals with the greater community.
