Q: What’s your cooking background, or how did you first learn to cook?
My mom is an exceptional home chef and she shaped my palate for life! I look forward to sharing my favorite globally inspired recipes and also collaborating with her to share our southern Indian cuisine.
Q: What can you tell us about the dish you’re making and what inspired it?
I’d like to sneak in a soup while I can with spring around the corner. I live for soups and this one is a well balanced, broth based one with tender kale, creamy beans and a hint of spice with the sausage. Warms you right up!
Q: Anything else we should know about you and your cooking?
My world revolves around food and eating well! I’ve lived on 3 continents and traveled to over 30 countries (and counting!) Experiencing cultures through food is one of my favorite things and I look forward to sharing/testing/learning recipes from this community. I use high quality ingredients to maximize the health benefits in my cooking and believe cooking with love is the secret ingredient to finishing a dish!
