Q: What’s your cooking background?
Shrav: So I started cooking when I was 17. Back in India, my parents have an at-home cook and I learned most of my cooking skills from him. Also from my mom’s sisters who all are great at home cooks.
Q: What can you tell us about the dish you’re making?
Shrav: It is a lamb chop marinated with rosemary, parsley, fresh garlic & ginger paste, kosher salt, pepper, paprika, olive oil and butter. I marinate this overnight. Then pan seared and baked. Meat is well cooked. Rice is cooked with fresh tomatoes, potatoes & Indian spices. Meat served is halal!
